Summer Session Begun

Boy is it raining a lot. I mean we are having one very healthy rainy season here in Heredia Costa Rica. The good news is this part of the world is used to this weather and they have the drainage system down and working great. I'm not sure how much rain it would take, but it must be a ton, to overload the drainage system here.

We have begun our online work today with our summer session students. Two alumni are taking their NCE this month and we have hired another teacher to work in the November session. Lots of action and great energy going on here at CRSIM.

One of our alumni got a spa job in Nicaragua and decided not to even go back home. At least for a little while. It is a beautiful time to be in Costa Rica.

LaCruz

This is the Cruz located at Monte de la Cruz up in the mountains. We have spent many hours and days there enjoying the views.

Today we had a great surprise when we looked up from the park and saw that we could see the cross from the park in San Rafael. For some reason that is reassuring to know that we can see up there.

Saturday is the hike up to Monte de la Cruz that takes about an hour or so. Beautiful and very good workout.

Now is the break from classes, we will be having another class starting the end of July and are looking forward to that.

Summer Session
